Much of the daily work done in class such as notes and vocabulary will be organized in your ELA folder and notebook listed on the supply list. This MUST be brought to class every day. It will act as a study resource for you throughout the year.
Reading:
You will also use your composition book for note taking.
30 minutes of free reading is required nightly. This will help you in completing the project based homework assigned each quarter. This is the homework for the reading and ELA course and will not be done in class.
It is also a good idea to use your planner to regularly to track weekly assignments and due dates for both classes.
